Directions to Leopard Hills Lodge:
From Johannesburg take the N4 to Nelspruit.
Once in Nelspruit, carry on towards White River, then take the R40, Main Road towards Hazyview.
Turn left at the T-junction into Hazyview.
At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right onto the R536 (Portia Shabangu), towards the Paul Kruger Gate.
Approximately 35km along this road, look out for signs indicating the Newington Gate / Sabi Sands and signs indicating “Huntington, Lilydale and Justicia” on the left-hand side of the road. This turn off is directly opposite the Main Gate Entrance to Elephant Point.
Newington Gate accesses the Sabi Sands Reserve, in which Leopard Hills is located – so please follow these signs.
Turn left there and follow this tar road for ± 9 km.
You will come to a 4-way crossing, turn right onto gravel road. (Please note there is a taxi rank at this 4-way crossing. There is also NO Stop signs. When you turn right here onto the gravel road, the taxi rank will be on your left-hand side. If you miss the 4-way stop and reach the Viva Garage on your right-hand side, you have gone too far, you will need to turn around and return to the 4-way stop.
After about 1.8 km there will be a small sign indicating Newington Gate. There is also a sign on the right that says Happy Homes. Turn left here.
Continue on this road to Newington Gate. You will be required to pay, and entrance fee at the Gate.
Once through the gate follow the signs to Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve.
